Vivid Resourcing Ltd is seeking an experienced freelance Site Manager to coordinate a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Brussels, Belgium. This client-side role requires overseeing multiple EPC contractors, ensuring safety, schedule, and quality across the on-site delivery.

You will coordinate commissioning, testing and handover, manage interfaces with site personnel and stakeholders, and provide regular progress reporting for a defined 12-month engagement starting January 2027.

Qualificações

• Electrical background is required.
• Commissioning experience with a strong understanding of commissioning processes.
• Experience coordinating contractors on site.
• Fluent English.
• Eligibility to work in Belgium as a freelancer (EU passport or Belgian residency).
• Availability to work full time on site in Brussels from January 2027.

Responsabilidades

• Provide client-side coordination of multiple EPC contractors across the BESS project lifecycle.
• Oversee on-site construction, installation and electrical works safely and efficiently.
• Support and coordinate commissioning activities, testing and project handover.
• Monitor schedule, quality and HSE compliance, proactively reducing risks and delays.
• Manage site personnel and contractor interfaces, ensuring effective stakeholder communication.
• Provide regular progress reporting and manage project documentation.
• Resolve issues as they arise throughout project delivery.
