A leading European energy developer in Brussels is seeking a Senior Technical BESS Expert – Engineering Manager. You will lead electrical and technology aspects of large-scale battery energy storage projects. This role involves technical authority over design, vendor engagement, and lifecycle engineering. Ideal candidates will have over 7 years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of battery technologies, and engineering proficiency. Proficiency in English is a must, and knowledge of French or Dutch is advantageous.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in engineering roles within energy or renewables, ideally BESS.
• Proven experience delivering complex grid-scale BESS projects from an owner's engineer perspective.
• Deep technical knowledge of power electronics and electrical balance-of-plant systems.

Responsabilités

• Lead electrical design and specifications during tendering and contracting.
• Act as the primary technical interface with BESS vendors and integrators.
• Perform engineering design review across multiple BESS projects.
