An Aboriginal Community-Controlled Organization in Morwell seeks a dedicated Case Manager to provide holistic support to Aboriginal women and their children facing family violence. You will manage a caseload, connect with community services, and promote the safety and wellbeing of vulnerable individuals. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in social work or equivalent experience. A supportive environment with professional development opportunities is offered.
The Victorian Aboriginal Child and Community Agency (VACCA) is an Aboriginal Community‐Controlled organisation that supports and advocates for the Aboriginal Community and is the largest organisation of its kind in Australia. This role is responsible will provide holistic case management to Aboriginal women and their children who are experiencing or escaping family violence in the Gippsland area. The Worker will build positive relationships and networks with relevant Aboriginal and non‑Aboriginal organisations and services to ensure that appropriate referrals and supports are put in place.
The Worker will carry an allocated caseload of clients providing short and medium‑term outreach and case‑management support.
