As a Business Development & Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and expansion of our signaling business unit. You must be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities within the signaling industry. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in‑depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential challenges within the signaling industry.
  • Analyze competitor activities and market dynamics to develop effective strategies for business growth.
  • Assist in developing and implementing a comprehensive business development and sales strategy for the North American signaling sector.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align business goals and ensure seamless execution of the strategic plan.
  • Understand and adapt technology portfolio to meet North American market requirements.
  • Technical requirement gathering and planning with Product Management.
  • Develop a database of potential partners and take responsibility for initiating strategic partnerships (technical, engineering, etc.).
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry influencers.
  • Develop and communicate a compelling value proposition for our signaling products and services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, engineering, and finance, to ensure a coordinated approach to business development activities.
  • Provide feedback to relevant teams to enhance product features and marketing strategies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field; MBA is a plus.
  • 8+ years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the US signaling (rail) industry.
  • Strong understanding of signaling technologies and railway operations, market trends, and competitive landscapes.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong track record of cultivating strong relationships.
