Taronga Western Plains Zoo is seeking an experienced Café Operations Coordinator to lead Café Wild, Waterhole Café and related services within a dynamic F&B team. You will coordinate day-to-day cafe operations, drive guest satisfaction and uphold high standards of service and safety in a unique zoo setting.

Join our team to develop staff, optimise rosters, train frontline colleagues, and ensure smooth delivery across venues while promoting sustainability and exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Leadership of cafe teams, rostering and training.
• Delivery of high guest service standards.
• Compliance with Food Safety and WHS requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operation of Café Wild and Waterhole Café ensuring guest experiences and service standards.
• Lead cafe team through recruitment, onboarding, rostering and day-to-day activities.
• Provide operational leadership and manage escalated issues, school group food collection coordination.
• Ensure compliance with Food Safety, WHS and cash handling; promote sustainability.
