Job summary

Taronga Conservation Society Australia is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead front-of-house operations across our zoo cafes, function centre, and restaurant. You will supervise and train staff, ensure exceptional guest service, and uphold sustainability and safety standards in a fast-paced setting.

The role is casual with Mon-Sun shifts, offering a flexible hybrid work model and benefits including passes to Taronga Sydney and Dubbo zoos, parking, and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Must have high-level customer service experience in hospitality.
• Proven ability to supervise and train a small team.
• RSA certification or ability to obtain it.
• Current NSW Working with Children Check preferred but not mandatory.
• Senior First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day front-of-house operations for zoo cafes, function centre & restaurant.
• Lead and train staff to deliver high-quality guest service.
• Coordinate tasks and assist in food and beverage service.
• Maintain safety, sustainability and compliance standards.
