• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum with literacy and numeracy teaching
• Experience planning high impact teaching strategies and evaluating learning growth
• Experience monitoring, assessing and using data to inform teaching and provide feedback to students and parents
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with students, parents and staff
• Commitment to Department values and ongoing professional learning to improve teaching quality

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individual students
• Contribute to curriculum development and evaluation within the school
• Undertake duties as determined by the School Principal
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions
• Undertake other non-teaching supervisory duties as required
