Elevation Secondary College in Melbourne's northern growth corridor seeks a Leading Teacher – Year Level Leader. You will have overall responsibility for behaviour, wellbeing and attendance within a sub school and lead a Year Level Team to drive improvements in teaching and learning.

You will apply expert curriculum knowledge, lead high‑impact teaching strategies, monitor student progress with data, and partner with staff, parents and the wider community to raise attainment and engagement.

Qualifications

• Must have provisional or full registration approved by the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
• Postgraduate level initial teacher education program accredited by a state authority.
• If applicable, meet LANTITE literacy and numeracy requirements.

Responsabilités

• Lead staff to improve behaviour, wellbeing and attendance.
• Coordinate Year Level Team and support Mentor Group Teachers.
• Develop proactive year level programs and student subject selections.
• Support welfare and wellbeing via IEPs/SSGs and mental health collaboration.
• Support trauma-informed education and Berry Street model implementation.
• Provide staff mentoring and instructional coaching for leadership and practice.
