Job summary

Monterey Secondary College is seeking a Leading Teacher to drive whole-school improvement and high-impact teaching across literacy and numeracy. You will lead data-informed planning, coach staff, and develop curricula aligned with the Victorian Department's priorities.

You will collaborate with staff, families and community partners to advance student learning, wellbeing and engagement while modelling Department values and supporting professional learning within the school.

Qualifications

• Must be registered teachers with relevant curriculum knowledge.
• Ability to lead planning and implementation of high-impact teaching strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to monitor and use data to drive school improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage whole-school improvement initiatives aligned with the strategic plan.
• Lead curriculum planning and delivery across key learning areas.
• Provide professional development and coaching to teaching staff.
