Job summary

FormDirect in Australia is seeking a Yard / Store Person to join the Yard team. Duties include receivables, storage, production and dispatch, while ensuring safe equipment use and OH&S compliance.

You will perform stock takes, maintain cleanliness, handle loading/unloading, and prepare materials for production. Strong problem-solving, teamwork and basic computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain yard and warehouse to high cleanliness, safety, and presentation.
• Load and unload incoming products safely and timely.
• Process all required paperwork for incoming goods.
• Store products under correct storage conditions.
• Discard products not meeting specs.
• Prepare materials for production line daily.
• Maintain all required paperwork.
• Support on-site audits by internal and external auditors.
• Follow safety and quality practices.

About You :

• Truck License

Position Summary :

As the Yard / Store Person, your duties primarily involve working as part of the Yard team to deal with all receivables, storage, production, and dispatch of products. You will also ensure the correct and safe use of equipment, ensuring that all tasks are completed preserving the utmost quality of products in compliance with OH&S standards. You and your team will also be required to perform stock take duties as required.

Job Responsibility :

• Ensure the yard and warehouse are maintained to a consistently high standard of cleanliness, organisation, safety and presentation
• Undertake safe, timely and effective loading and unloading of incoming products including ensuring all loads are complete
• Complete all required processes for all incoming products
• Ensure all products are kept in correct storage conditions
• Discard or reject products, materials, or equipment not meeting specifications
• Prepare materials for production line on a daily basis
• Complete and maintain all required paperwork
• Ensure fundamental safety and quality practices are adopted and maintained
• Keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; calling for repairs.
• Ensure that all policies and plans are adhered to at all times
• Take appropriate action to maintain the integrity of the Quality System
• Recommend necessary corrective actions, based on inspection results.
• Support on-site audits conducted by internal and external auditors
• All other duties as assigned by Manager or Supervisor
