Job summary

Muswellbrook Steel Supplies Pty Ltd in NSW is seeking a capable Yard Supervisor to lead and develop our yard team. You will coordinate daily yard activities, oversee receiving, storage, picking and dispatch, and ensure customer orders are prepared on time.

This role requires hands-on leadership outdoors, operating forklifts, and maintaining stock organisation. A strong focus on WHS, safety, and effective communication with staff and customers will be essential.

Qualifications

• Experienced in a yard, warehouse, steel, rural supplies or similar environment
• A confident team leader who can organise and motivate others
• Practical, reliable and willing to get hands-on
• Well organised and able to prioritise competing tasks
• Safety-focused with a strong understanding of workplace safety
• A good communicator who works well with both staff and customers
• Comfortable working outdoors and in a physically demanding environment
• Confident operating forklifts and machinery
• Forklift licence - essential
• MR/HR/HC highly regarded
