Job summary

FormDirect in Australia is seeking a Yard/Store Person to join the yard team. You will handle receivables, storage, production, and dispatch, ensuring safe equipment use and OH&S compliance while preserving product quality.

You will also perform stock takes and support loading/unloading with a focus on accuracy, organisation, and teamwork in a hands-on environment. Immediate start preferred; on-site role at our Rockhampton area facility.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar yard/store role.
• Strong planning and organisational skills.
• Good problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Comfort with practical/manual work and teamwork.
• Ability to follow written instructions and use basic computer tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain yard and warehouse to high standards of cleanliness, organisation, safety and presentation.
• Safe, timely loading and unloading of incoming products and ensuring loads are complete.
• Process all required procedures for incoming products.
• Store products in correct conditions and discard items not meeting specs.
• Prepare materials for production line daily and maintain paperwork.
• Adhere to safety and quality practices and assist with audits.
• Keep measurement equipment running by following instructions and arranging repairs.
• Support other duties as assigned by management.

Position Summary :

As the Yard / Store Person, your duties primarily involve working as part of the Yard team to deal with all receivables, storage, production, and dispatch of products. You will also ensure the correct and safe use of equipment, ensuring that all tasks are completed preserving the utmost quality of products in compliance with OH&S standards. You and your team will also be required to perform stock take duties as required.

Job Responsibility :

• Ensure the yard and warehouse are maintained to a consistently high standard of cleanliness, organisation, safety and presentation
• Undertake safe, timely and effective loading and unloading of incoming products including ensuring all loads are complete
• Complete all required processes for all incoming products
• Ensure all products are kept in correct storage conditions
• Discard or reject products, materials, or equipment not meeting specifications
• Prepare materials for production line on a daily basis
• Complete and maintain all required paperwork
• Ensure fundamental safety and quality practices are adopted and maintained
• Keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; calling for repairs.
• Ensure that all policies and plans are adhered to at all times
• Take appropriate action to maintain the integrity of the Quality System
• Recommend necessary corrective actions, based on inspection results.
• Support on-site audits conducted by internal and external auditors
• All other duties as assigned by Manager or Supervisor
