Job summary

Penske Australia & New Zealand is seeking a Service/Warranty Advisor in Wacol on a maternity leave cover from December 2026 to September 2027. You will be the link between workshop, field service and customers, handling bookings, warranty claims and ensuring exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Service Advisor or similar customer-facing technical role.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new systems.
• Excellent communicator who is confident, clear and customer-focused.
• Team player who thrives in a busy hands-on environment.
• Knowledge of MTU, Detroit Diesel or Allison products (advantageous).
• Trade or industry qualification in Service Advising or Parts Interpreting (desirable).
• Alignment with Penske values of Ownership, Passion, Teamwork, Integrity and Care.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-class customer support at the service counter and over the phone.
• Manage service bookings, job opening/closing, and invoicing to company standards.
• Keep customers updated on repair progress, costs and completion times.
• Prepare and process warranty claims accurately and efficiently.
• Maximise service sales by identifying additional products and maintenance opportunities.
• Liaise with technicians, service supervisors and parts interpreters to ensure smooth workflow.
• Contribute to a safe, collaborative and customer-focused team environment.
