Job summary

Penske Transportation Group in Wacol, Australia is seeking a Service/Warranty Advisor for a maternity leave cover contract from December 2026 to September 2027. You will coordinate between our workshop, field service teams and customers, managing bookings, warranty claims, and providing exceptional service.

You will liaise with technicians and parts interpreters, keep customers informed on progress and costs, and identify maintenance opportunities to drive service sales.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Service Advisor or similar customer-facing technical role.
• Strong admin and organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; able to learn new systems.
• Excellent communicator, customer-focused, and a team player.
• Trade/industry qualification in Service Advising or Parts Interpreting is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-class customer support at the service counter and over the phone.
• Manage service bookings, job opening/closing, and invoicing.
• Keep customers updated on repair progress, costs, and completion times.
• Prepare and process warranty claims accurately and efficiently.

We’re looking for a Service/Warranty Advisor to join our high-performing team in Wacol for a Maternity leave cover contract from December 2026 – September 2027. • Knowledge of MTU, Detroit Diesel, or Allison products (advantageous).
