Qualifications

• Trade qualification in mechanical or electrical trades is required.
• Proven diagnostic abilities across mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Experience servicing heavy machinery or similar equipment preferred.
• Ability to operate independently and as part of a service team.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Workshop Technician to join our Mobile Cranes division, based at our Yatala facility in Brisbane.

This is an opportunity to work with world-class mobile crane technology, applying your technical expertise across mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic systems.

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs and performing preventative maintenance on Liebherr mobile cranes, ensuring equipment continues to operate safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair faults across electrical, hydraulic, mechanical and pneumatic components on Liebherr mobile cranes.
• Carry out preventative maintenance and servicing on Liebherr mobile cranes.
• Undertake technical fault-finding and identify appropriate repair solutions.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety and equipment reliability.
• Work collaboratively with the Service team to support efficient workshop operations.
• Ensure work is completed in accordance with Liebherr's quality and safety requirements.

About You

You will be a technically capable tradesperson with strong diagnostic abilities, a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Ideally, you will bring:

• A relevant mechanical or electrical trade qualification.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Experience servicing and maintaining heavy machinery or similar equipment.
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.

Previous experience working with mobile cranes or Liebherr equipment will be highly regarded.
