Job summary

Liebherr-Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a qualified Diesel/Mobile Plant Mechanic for field-based repairs across South Australia, including regional work. You will diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults, perform major and minor services, and replace components on wheel loaders, excavators and other earthmoving gear.

The role requires a trade qualification, a current driver's license and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Trade qualified as Diesel / Mobile Plant Mechanic
• Ability to fault find and diagnose across mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems
• Flexibility to travel to customer sites and work overtime as required
• Current driver’s license; forklift, W, T, R and AC tickets advantageous
• Basic Word and Excel abilities
• Commitment to safety in the workplace

Job description

We have a very rewarding and challenging role for a qualified plant or diesel mechanic. Can you work independently and carry out major repairs on earthmoving equipment with minimal assistance and can diagnose complex faults. Liebherr Earthmoving Division has a new opportunity for an experienced and motivated technician to be based in our Adelaide branch. In this role you will work in the Field across South Australia with the opportunity of regional work, maintain and repair a broad range of our equipment including wheel loaders, material handlers and excavators for our growing customer base.

Skills & Experience
