Job summary

Berendsen Fluid Power in Wetherill Park seeks a Workshop Coordinator / Planner to lead workshop estimates, scheduling and job packs, ensuring on-time delivery to customers.

You will coordinate with sales, customers, suppliers and contractors, manage work in progress, and drive accurate BOMs, job cards and work instructions for each job. The role suits organised, proactive communicators with experience in workshop environments.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication across sales, customers, suppliers and contractors.
• Strong organisational skills with multi-job juggling.
• High initiative and attention to detail.
• General engineering knowledge; ability to read/interpret technical drawings and specs is preferred.
• Experience estimating, scheduling or coordinating jobs in a workshop, trade or industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate estimates and quotes from scopes of work.
• Book jobs and complete Job Cards within 24 hours of receiving the PO.
• Prepare Bills of Materials with pricing and availability.
• Build comprehensive Job Packs (Job Cards, BOMs, Work Instructions).
• Keep WIP up to date and provide clear updates in meetings.
• Liaise with sales and customers, communicating delays early.
• Coordinate with suppliers/contractors for pricing and on-time delivery.
• Consolidate administrative tasks for costing and invoicing.
