Job summary

Maxwell Recruitment & Training is seeking a permanent workshop leading hand to join a facility in the Mayfield area. You will lead a small team of fabricators and installers, oversee on-site tasks, assist with quoting and ordering parts, and ensure quality assurance.

The role requires trade qualifications in boilermaking, hands-on MIG/steel/aluminium welding experience, and strong safety and communication skills. This is a day-shift, permanent position with competitive pay in the NSW region.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for looking after a small crew of fabricators and installers, completing various tasks on the tools, assisting with quoting, estimating, ordering parts, and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

• MIG welding, steel welding, and aluminium welding.
• Fabrication.
• Working on balustrating, fencing, and gates.
• Delegating jobs.
• Liaising with clients.
• Quality assurance.
