Maxwell Recruitment & Training is seeking a permanent workshop leading hand to join a facility in the Mayfield area. You will lead a small team of fabricators and installers, oversee on-site tasks, assist with quoting and ordering parts, and ensure quality assurance.

The role requires trade qualifications in boilermaking, hands-on MIG/steel/aluminium welding experience, and strong safety and communication skills. This is a day-shift, permanent position with competitive pay in the NSW region.

Qualifications

• Trade qualified boilermaker with leadership experience.
• Experience as a leading hand or supervisor.
• MIG, steel and aluminium welding experience.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead a small crew of fabricators and installers.
• Oversee welding, fabrication and balance tasks on the tools.
• Assist with quoting, estimating and ordering parts.
• Ensure quality assurance and client liaison.
• Delegate jobs to team members.
