Job summary

Brandons in Acacia Ridge is seeking a trade-qualified Workshop Boilermaker for our busy structural steel and metalwork workshop. You will join a small team in a fast-paced environment, reading technical drawings and fabricating structural components with a focus on quality and safety.

Excellent hourly rate and plenty of overtime are on offer. We value self-management and the ability to work unsupervised as part of the team.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Engineering - Heavy Fabrication or equivalent trade qualification.
• Experience in structural fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Self-managed and able to work in a small team.
• Focus on quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate structural steel components as per drawings.
• Maintain quality and safety standards in a busy workshop.
• Assist in workshop operations and cooperate with a small team.

Qualifications & experience:

• Certificate III in Engineering - Heavy Fabrication (or equivalent trade qualification)
• Experience in structural fabrication
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and designs.
• Working as part of a small team and unsupervised, self-managed.
• Focus on quality and safety.

Some highly desirable but non-mandatory attributes include;

• High Risk Work License - LF, DG
• OH Gantry Crane Competency
• Current & valid driver's license
• Experience in fabrication & welding Stainless Steel and Aluminium with GMAW and GTAW highly valued.
