Job summary

Maxwell Recruitment is seeking skilled Boilermakers for an ongoing Newcastle-based role. You will perform heavy fabrication, crack repairs, and welding including MIG/flux core, working from drawings and specifications in a supportive workshop.

Ideal candidates are trade-qualified with proven heavy fabrication experience and a strong work ethic, capable of passing a weld test and adhering to safe work practices. Overtime and penalties enhance earnings in this Newcastle-based position.

Maxwell Recruitment is currently seeking skilled, trade-qualified Boilermakers to join our client’s team based in Newcastle.

About the Role

You will be working across heavy fabrication and repair projects, with duties including:

• Crack repairs and welding of pot shells from the aluminium smelter
• Heavy repairs and welding
• MIG and flux core welding
• General fabrication and workshop duties
• Working from drawings and specifications
