Job summary

Custom Fluidpower, part of the Questas Group, is seeking a highly organised Workshop Administrator / Stores professional to join our Singleton team. You will coordinate workshop administration, support technicians, manage stock, and help ensure smooth operations behind the scenes.

In this hands-on role you’ll liaise with workshop, sales teams and suppliers to deliver exceptional service to customers. Strong organisational skills, ERP experience and attention to detail are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Experience in workshop administration, stores or operational support.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
• Able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive attitude and able to solve problems independently.
• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, engineering or fluid power environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the workshop team.
• Manage workshop job documentation, sales orders and invoicing.
• Coordinate purchase orders and supplier follow-ups.
• Enter timesheets and support payroll processing.
• Maintain workshop labour allocation and job tracking.
• Assist with quotations and customer communication.
• Receive, inspect and store incoming goods.
• Manage inventory accuracy and stock movements.

About the Opportunity

Custom Fluidpower is looking for a highly organised Workshop Administrator / Stores professional to join our team in Singleton.

This is a hands-on and varied role where you’ll be the operational backbone of the workshop coordinating administration, supporting technicians, managing stock, and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

Your Tasks

• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, engineering or fluid power environments (highly regarded)

A forklift licence or warehouse experience would also be advantageous.
