Job summary

Auxus is seeking an experienced facilities/concierge manager to oversee a portfolio of NSW Government Workplace sites across Sydney. You will lead and train Concierge teams, ensure service standards, manage staffing and act as the client’s day-to-day contact for operational matters.

The role requires strong communication, proactive risk management and proficiency in Excel/MS Office, with willingness to be trained as a first aider and fire warden. Full-time, on site across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop Concierge team across NSW Government Workplace sites
• Monitor KPIs, identify gaps and work with Operations Manager to address issues
• Own resource planning and ensure sites are staffed
• Be the client’s day-to-day contact and escalation point for complex inquiries
• Ensure site teams follow scope, policies, training plans and service standards
• Act as fire warden and first aider; maintain training/compliance records
• Oversee WHS documentation, incident reports, risk assessments and audits
• Support recruitment, training and continuous improvement initiatives
• Assist Operations Manager with End of Month site data reports

Job description

Primary Purpose

This role runs a portfolio of 3-4 NSW Government Workplace sites in Sydney to what the contract says: people, training, attendance and standards, with breaches or gaps caught and raised before they reach the client.

Snapshot of Your Day

• You will lead, coach and develop Concierge team to deliver consistent, high-quality services across all sites
• You will monitor performance against KPIs, identify service gaps and work with the Operations Manager to address the issues
• You will own resource planning, cover leave and work with the operations leadership team so every site stays staffed
• You will be the client's day-to-day contact at each site, and the escalation point for your team on complex enquiries and operational matters, ensuring timely resolution
• You will know every site well enough to work any shift at any of them, and train the team to each site's scope
• You will ensure site teams follow contractual scope, policies, procedures, training plans and Glad Hospitality service standards
• You will act as fire warden and first aider, and keep the training and compliance records current across the portfolio
• You will oversee WHS documentation, incident reports, risk assessments, SWMS and site audits
• You will support recruitment, staff training, regular team catch-ups and continuous improvement initiatives
• You will support Operations Manager with End of Month report with each site’s data

About You:

• A background in facilities, workplace services or hotel management, with people reporting to you
• A proactive problem-solver who can identify risks, resolve issues and prevent service disruption
• Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to respond to changing operational needs and work across allocated sites
• Leadership that drives change and brings people with you, and the influencing skills to hold a standard with a client
• The organisation to run several sites at once, meet deadlines and manage your own week at short notice
• Clear, confident communication, written, in person and in front of a room
• Intermediate to advanced Excel and Microsoft Office
• A current police check, and first aid and emergency warden accreditation or willingness to be trained. A qualification in business or hospitality management is an advantage
