Job summary

Kmart Group is seeking a Workforce Planning and Training Lead to shape staffing and capability for our high-volume Omnichannel Fulfillment Centre in Sydney. You’ll translate forecasts into rosters, own the training matrix, and partner with site leaders and suppliers to ensure readiness and consistency.

We value strong analytics, experience with LMS and payroll systems, and the ability to influence leaders. A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in workforce planning and rostering in high-volume operations.
• Experience delivering and tracking operational training and onboarding.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment highly desirable.
• Analytical skills with spreadsheet reporting and data visualization.
• Familiarity with time and attendance, LMS, and reporting systems.
• Understanding of enterprise agreements and workforce planning implications.

Responsibilities

• Translate volume forecasts into daily/weekly labour plans and rosters.
• Lead workforce reviews including recruitment onboarding transfers and coverage.
• Own site training matrix, induction, cross-training, and competency plans.
• Maintain rosters, skills profiles, learning records and workforce data.
• Partner with SMEs to keep training materials current and effective.
• Analyse attendance, labour utilisation, overtime, agency usage and training completion.
• Build partnerships to resolve workforce and capability gaps.
