Job summary

Kmart Australia is seeking a Workforce Design and Optimisation Manager to lead the design and optimisation of store workforce models, labour standards and standards across the network. Reporting to the Head of Workforce Planning, you will turn data into practical solutions that boost productivity and support operational execution.

You will lead a team, partner with Demand Planning and Store Operations, and drive scalable, measurable improvements while balancing analytical rigor with practical

Qualifications

• Experience in workforce planning/design in a large retail environment.
• Ability to translate data into practical workforce solutions.
• Proven track record delivering productivity improvements.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to influence change.
• Experience with UKG Pro Workforce Management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, optimisation and continuous improvement of workforce models and operating frameworks across the store network.
• Develop and maintain labour standards and productivity assumptions.
• Partner with Demand Planning to translate forecasts into design solutions.
• Identify and deliver initiatives to improve productivity and cost outcomes.
• Lead scenario modelling and workforce planning analysis for strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with Store Operations to ensure scalable, adopted frameworks.
• Coach a small team and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
