Job summary

Busways is seeking a Workers Compensation Case Management Specialist to coordinate and manage all aspects of injured workers' claims within a self-insurance framework. The role focuses on timely injury management, legislative compliance, and outcomes that support safe return to work.

The successful candidate will bring 5+ years' experience in claims management, strong communication, and the ability to engage stakeholders across operational teams, ensuring accurate data and a person-centered

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in workers compensation claims management.
• Experience working within self-insurance (highly regarded).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for complex situations.
• Australian citizen, permanent resident or valid working rights.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all aspects of an injured worker's notification and/or claim.
• Manage an end-to-end portfolio of workers compensation claims within a self-insurance framework.
• Apply and communicate complex legislative requirements for entitlements and benefits.
• Early injury management planning with injured workers and stakeholders.
• Provide expert advice on workers compensation and injury management strategies.
• Enter accurate and timely claims data to meet SIRA data quality requirements.
• Uphold SIRA Customer Service Principles with a person-centric claims process.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks and other duties as directed.
