Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in workers compensation claims management.
• Experience within self-insurance is highly regarded.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for complex situations.
• Experience using Microsoft Office and Power Automate workflows.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and professional relationship-building.
• Autonomous, proactive and highly organised with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all aspects of an injured worker's notification and/or claim.
• Manage end-to-end portfolio of workers compensation claims within a self-insurance framework.
• Apply legislative requirements and processes to entitlements and benefits.
• Plan early injury management with workers and stakeholders to support return to work.
• Provide expert advice on workers compensation and injury management strategies.
• Enter accurate claims management data to meet data quality requirements.
• Uphold SIRA Customer Service Principles and support a person-centric process.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as directed.
