Job summary

Portland District Health is seeking an experienced Injury Management / Return to Work Coordinator to join the Human Resources team. The role focuses on coordinating workplace injuries, illnesses, and workers' compensation matters, with emphasis on proactive injury prevention and early intervention.

You will advise managers on suitable duties, workplace adjustments, rehabilitation and return to work strategies, and work with various stakeholders to support safe, timely, and sustainable returns to

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification or substantial experience in injury management, rehabilitation and return-to-work coordination.
• Knowledge of workers' compensation, rehabilitation, OH&S and return-to-work principles and legislation.
• Return To Work accreditation or commitment to obtain within three months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate employee workplace injuries and workers' compensation matters.
• Advise managers on suitable duties and workplace adjustments.
• Support safe, timely and sustainable return to work.
• Collaborate with treating practitioners, insurer, WorkSafe Victoria and other stakeholders.
