The Dinner Ladies in New South Wales is seeking a reliable, hands-on team member to own a core part of our production—managing ice tubs and supporting ingredient flow across kitchen and dispatch teams.

This is an early morning role (4:30am start, Monday to Friday), ideal for someone who enjoys finishing early and having the rest of the day free. You’ll work in a fast-paced food production environment, ensuring chilled products are properly handled and ready when needed.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Ice Tub Management (Core Focus)

• Prepare and fill ice tubs and distribute to kitchen teams

• Monitor chilling process (stirring, temperature checks, recording)

• Ensure food safety and temperature compliance

• Unpack and organise chilled sauces and ingredients

• Clean, reset, and maintain tubs

Warehouse & Ingredient Support

• Weigh and prepare ingredients for production

• Label and maintain traceability records

• Follow FIFO processes

• Pre-stage stock for kitchen and assembly teams

• Flag low stock or shortages early

What We’re Looking For

• Reliable and punctual (early start is essential)

• Comfortable working in a cold / freezer environment

• Strong attention to detail and consistency

• Physically fit for manual handling tasks

• Team player with good communication

• Experience in food production or warehouse (preferred but not essential)
