Job summary

Thomas Wines in the Hunter Valley, NSW, is seeking a proactive Cellar Door Experiences & Membership Specialist to join our team. You will blend hands-on hospitality with wine sales, lead membership signups, and deliver memorable tasting experiences that showcase our single-vineyard wines.

You will report to the DTC Sales & Marketing Manager and Cellar Door Manager, helping grow our member community while maintaining high standards of service, stock management, and event-friendly sales.

Qualifications

Experience in cellar door, hospitality, tourism, or wine sales.
Strong customer service and sales focus.
Comfort with wine knowledge or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

Deliver an exceptional Cellar Door experience across tasting formats.
Drive membership signups and onsite sales with commission opportunities.
Maintain cellar door presentation to a high standard.
Operate POS, online booking, website backend, and wine club software (training provided).
Assist with wine club customer service, member onboarding, and subscription support.
Stock management, packing, shipping, and general sales operations.
Support social media scheduling and community management when directed.
