Job summary

De Bortoli Wines in the Hunter Valley is seeking a friendly Casual Cellar Door and Hospitality Assistant to join our busy team. You will deliver warm customer service, host tastings, assist with wine recommendations and support cellar door operations.

Responsibilities include presenting wine and cheese boards, processing sales, handling EFTPOS, and helping with events and markets on weekends. No prior cellar door experience required; enthusiasm and a passion for hospitality are valued, with

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or service roles is helpful but not essential.
• Weekend availability is preferred.
• Strong communication and a friendly, energetic attitude.

Responsibilities

• Host engaging wine tastings and introduce visitors to our range.
• Prepare and present beverages and grazing boards.
• Deliver warm, attentive customer service to maintain the inviting cellar door atmosphere.
• Process sales and EFTPOS transactions and answer customer enquiries.
• Support busy weekends, local markets, and special events.
• Assist with stock, displays, and opening/closing procedures.
