Job summary

De Bortoli Wines in the Hunter Valley is seeking a friendly Casual Cellar Door and Hospitality Assistant to join our busy team. You will deliver memorable guest experiences, lead wine tastings, promote our range and help drive cellar door sales with a warm, knowledgeable approach.

You’ll work weekends and events, assist with beverages, boards, and stock management, and maintain a clean, inviting space that reflects our family-owned winery ethos.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in hospitality is valued.
• Friendly, energetic and reliable attitude with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Host wine tastings and introduce visitors to our range.
• Prepare and serve cocktails, wines and other beverages.
• Prepare and present cheese, charcuterie and grazing boards.
• Deliver warm, attentive customer service to maintain an inviting atmosphere.
• Participate in busy weekends, local markets and special events.
• Process sales and EFTPOS transactions and respond to customer inquiries.
• Assist with cellar door operations including stock replenishment and opening/closing procedures.
