Job summary

UTS is seeking a Lead for the U@Uni Academy to drive the widening participation program across partner schools and campus activities. You will translate approved strategy into coordinated delivery, manage staff, and ensure compliance with university policies and government requirements.

You will lead data-driven program improvements, monitor budgets, and build strong relationships with stakeholders, safeguarding and reporting obligations while delivering high-quality equity education initiatives.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated management of professional staff and team culture.
• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation with senior leaders.
• Significant experience leading education/outreach or student equity programs.
• Commitment to equity, inclusion and respectful engagement with diverse communities.
• Advanced data analytics to drive program improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual and term-based operational planning and delivery across partner schools and UTS activities.
• Manage staff and build a collaborative, inclusive and accountable team culture.
• Act as the principal operational contact for partner schools and coordinate cross-unit support.
• Use operational data and feedback to monitor quality and drive improvements.
• Ensure program delivery meets legal, policy and safeguarding requirements and document risks.
• Monitor budgets, procurement and resources; produce reporting for insights.
