Job summary

UTS College in Sydney seeks a Student Experience Coordinator to design and deliver initiatives that foster connection, belonging and student success across the journey. You will work with students, college teams and external partners to create welcoming, supportive programs from orientation through transition and voice activities.

The role emphasizes wellbeing, inclusion and continuous improvement, with opportunities to lead mentoring and engagement programs in a vibrant campus community.

Qualifications

• A relevant qualification in Education, Psychology, Youth work, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience working with young people and/or international students in a pastoral care, wellbeing, student support or student experience role.
• A passion for supporting students and creating inclusive, engaging and positive student experiences.
• An understanding of student wellbeing, engagement and transition challenges, particularly for young and international students.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to connect with students and collaborate across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple projects, events and priorities.
• Experience using feedback, data and insights to evaluate programs and drive continuous improvement.
• Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain one before commencement).

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging student experience initiatives, events and campaigns that foster connection, belonging and a positive college experience.
• Build strong relationships with students and collaborate with teams across the College to support engagement, wellbeing and success.
• Monitor student feedback and engagement data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and enhance the student experience.
• Lead the College's Peer Mentoring Program, supporting students' transition, engagement and academic success.
• Recruit, train and support student mentors, while promoting participation and student leadership opportunities.
• Evaluate program outcomes and implement improvements based on feedback and participation data.
