Job summary

UTS, based in the heart of Sydney, seeks a senior partnerships lead within External Engagement and Partnerships. The role focuses on identifying, attracting, scoping and contracting partnerships between UTS and external organisations within the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Health, operating in a hub-and-spoke BD model to maximise value.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification or equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Experience in business development, partnerships or stakeholder engagement preferred.
• Experience in Science or Health fields and working with multidisciplinary teams.”

Responsibilities

• Lead development of faculty-level engagement plans and strategies.
• Proactively identify and progress partnership opportunities and build a strong pipeline.
• Shape compelling proposals and strong agreements in collaboration with academic and professional staff.
• Utilise the hub-and-spoke structure to address partner needs with university value propositions.
• Direct, support and mentor team members where applicable.
• Provide partnership expertise and guidance to faculty leadership and researchers.
