Job summary

GURNER Group seeks a Resident Experience Officer for Elysium Fields in Melbourne. You will deliver world-class hospitality across premium wellness and leisure facilities, guiding residents and guests with a polished, professional touch in a luxury setting.

You will oversee operations, maintain equipment, ensure safety and hygiene, and support front desk duties and Crystal Club activities as required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in high-end hospitality or luxury settings.
• Understanding of premium wellness treatments & skincare.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for wellness.
• Proactive and team-oriented.
• First Aid & CPR certification—current or willing to obtain.
• Discretion and confidentiality.
• Flexibility to work a rotational roster including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the building's premium wellness facilities.
• Maintain wellness equipment and report maintenance requirements.
• Ensure gym, pool, sauna and relaxation spaces are clean, safe and presented.
• Assist opening/closing procedures of wellness facilities.
• Greet residents and guests with personalised service.
• Ensure health, safety and hygiene standards are met.
• Monitor pool/spa chemical levels and report concerns.
• Manage treatment bookings and payments in designated software.
• Support Crystal Club operations and front desk admin as needed.

About the role:

As a Resident Experience officer - Wellness & Leisure at Helios & Yutaka – Elysium Fields, you are the face of LIFE by GURNER™ and play a key role in delivering world-class hospitality & resident experience with primary focus on wellness.

You will provide warm, polished, and highly professional service to residents and their guests across the building's premium wellness & leisure facilities, ensuring every interaction and touchpoint reflects the luxury standards of the development. From guiding residents through available wellness offerings to ensuring the seamless presentation and operation of the spaces, you will set the standard for exceptional wellness hospitality.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing the daily operations of the building's premium wellness facilities, ensuring all spaces are always presented to an exceptional standard
• Monitoring and maintaining all wellness equipment, reporting any maintenance requirements promptly
• Ensure all areas including gym, pool, sauna, and relaxation spaces are clean, safe, and impeccably presented throughout each shift
• Supporting the opening and closing procedures of all wellness facilities as required
• Greeting and welcoming all residents and guests warmly, delivering a personalised and attentive experience on every visit
• Ensuring all wellness spaces operate in accordance with relevant health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times
• Monitoring pool and spa chemical & temperature levels and report any concerns in line with building protocols
• Ability to manage treatment booking & payment systems & operate on designated software
• This role will also support Crystal Club operations when required and assist Front office with administrative duties as needed

The ideal person:

To be successful in this role, the ideal person will have;

• At least 1-2 years prior experience in high-end hospitality, hotels, spas, luxury residential, or customer-facing environments
• An understanding of premium wellness treatments & skincare
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a polished and professional manner
• Ability to multitask and remain composed in a premium, fast-paced environment
• Passion for wellness
• Proactive, solution-focused, and team-oriented approach
• First Aid & CPR Certification – Must be current or willing to obtain
• Ability to handle sensitive situation with confidentiality and professionalism
• Flexibility to work a rotational roster, including weekends
