Job summary

Elysium Manly is seeking a Food and Beverage Supervisor to lead the service team and ensure luxury standards in a premier beachside setting. You will oversee daily operations, maintain menu knowledge, and coach staff to deliver personalised guest experiences.

RSA certified, with at least 2 years in F&B and supervisory experience; Opera Cloud knowledge is a plus. Flexible rostering including evenings, weekends and public holidays; Australian working rights are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a Food & Beverage environment with supervisory experience.
• RSA certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of beverages (beer, wine, spirits, cocktails).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills for guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Deliver efficient, professional, personalised F&B service.
• Oversee daily outlet operations and guest billing.
• Maintain knowledge of menu, beverages, dietary and allergen information.
• Ensure compliance with RSA, liquor licensing, hygiene and safety.
• Support events setup and operations as required.
• Assist with rostering and staffing levels.
• Lead and support the team during service to maintain luxury standards.
• Coach and develop team members; onboard new staff.
• Maintain presentation and Elysium brand standards.

The Food and Beverage Supervisor is responsible for the efficient operation of the food and beverage service function, ensuring total customer satisfaction while meeting the departmental budget.

Main responsibilities:

Food & Beverage Operations

• Deliver efficient, professional and personalised food and beverage service in line with Elysium standards.
• Oversee daily outlet operations, including service standards, guest billing, cleanliness and equipment.
• Ensure the team maintains strong menu, beverage, dietary and allergen knowledge while identifying opportunities to enhance the guest experience.
• Maintain compliance with RSA, liquor licensing, hygiene and food safety requirements.
• Support Conference & Events setup and operations as required.
• Assist with rostering and maintaining efficient staffing levels.
• Lead and support the F&B team during service, ensuring consistent luxury service standards.
• Coach, train and develop team members to build confidence, capability and product knowledge.
• Support the onboarding and training of new team members.
• Maintain high standards of presentation, professionalism and Elysium brand compliance.

Your experience and skills include:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Food & Beverage environment, with previous supervisory experience essential.
• Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification.
• Strong knowledge of beverages, including beer, wine, spirits and cocktails.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Experience with Opera Cloud is desirable.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• A team-focused attitude with a willingness to go above and beyond for guests.
• Valid Australian Working Rights / Visa is essential.
