Minor Hotels’ Elysia Wellness Retreat in the Hunter Valley is seeking a Front Office Supervisor on a full-time basis to support the Front Office Manager, oversee daily operations, and guide a high-performing team toward a warm, guest-focused experience.

You will mentor staff, manage bookings, reports, and front office procedures, and handle guest feedback with empathy while maintaining a calm, professional presence.

Qualifications

• Two+ years’ experience in a front office or guest-facing role, ideally with supervisory responsibilities.
• A natural leader with strong people skills and a supportive, team-first mindset.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, complemented by a calm and professional presence.
• A guest-first approach and passion for delivering meaningful, personalised service.
• Experience with front office systems and knowledge of trust accounting processes.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
• An interest in health, wellness, or spa environments is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the daily leadership of the Front Office team to deliver warm, seamless guest service from arrival to departure.
• Creating a welcoming environment that aligns with the retreat’s values of wellbeing and genuine care.
• Coaching and mentoring team members to grow their skills, confidence, and service delivery.
• Handling guest feedback with empathy and professionalism, ensuring quick and thoughtful resolutions.
• Overseeing front office operations including bookings, reporting, and daily procedures.
