Job summary

Southern NSW Local Health District is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant/Technician Grade 1/2 for weekend shifts in their hospital pharmacy. The role supports dispensing, production, and clinical activities and is open to final-year or penultimate-year pharmacy students.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Certificate III or Certificate IV in Hospital Pharmacy Assistance or equivalent.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations and pharmaceutical calculations.

Responsibilities

• The Pharmacy Assistant will provide technical support to the Pharmacy Department in dispensing, production, clinical and distribution activities.
• This position is suitable for pharmacy students in their final or second-last year of study.
