Job summary

Northern Sydney Local Health District is offering a weekend Pharmacy Assistant role targeted at final or penultimate year pharmacy students. You will support the Pharmacy Department across dispensing, production, clinical and distribution activities within RNS pharmacy.

This temporary part-time position provides valuable hospital experience, 16 hours per week, and a pathway to ongoing employment. Applicants should be in the final or second-last year and ready to contribute to a dynamic hospital

Qualifications

Completion of a Certificate III or Certificate IV in Hospital Pharmacy Assistance or equivalent.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to perform basic arithmetical calculations; pharmaceutical calculations (technical grades).
Computer literacy, including MS Office applications.
Demonstrated ability to work individually and in a team environment.
Describe a regular commitment you maintained for at least six months (employment, volunteering, sport or caring responsibilities).
