Job summary

Western Sydney Local Health District – Westmead NSW is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join the Westmead Hospital team. You will provide reliable pharmaceutical support across inpatient, outpatient and community settings, focusing on safe dispensing and medication handling.

This permanent full-time role offers exposure to sterile and non-sterile manufacturing, collaborative work with pharmacists and technicians, and opportunities to contribute to medication safety and quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated good communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Satisfactory pharmacy dispensing experience in Australia (or equivalent).
• Ability to prioritise large workload and have good time management skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Willing and able to perform all aspects of sterile manufacturing (including cytotoxic).
• Must be willing and able to work late shifts and overtime on weekends as required.
• Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people are encouraged to apply.

Selection Criteria
