Job summary

CITIC CLSA in Sydney seeks an Application Support / Production Support specialist to maintain Wealth Management applications, with a focus on extended-hours trading and cross-time-zone operations.

You will work with business users, development and infrastructure teams to ensure stable production operations, timely incident handling, and continuous support across regions and time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in CS/IT/Engineering/Finance or related field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in application or production support within securities, brokerage, trading or wealth management.
• Solid understanding of production support processes, incident management, monitoring, and operational controls.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix commands, SQL, log analysis, and basic scripting.
• Experience supporting trading platforms or financial applications is preferred.
• Strong communication, ownership, and ability to work across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day production and application support for Wealth Management systems, including trading, brokerage, and client platforms.
• Support extended-hours activities, especially 5x24 U.S. equities trading and pre-open coverage.
• Monitor system health, interfaces, jobs, and key business processes to ensure stable operations.
• Perform first-level triage, incident analysis, and troubleshooting; coordinate timely resolution.
• Handle production incidents, service requests, and operational inquiries from users.
• Coordinate with development, infrastructure, database, network, and vendor teams to resolve issues.
• Escalate critical incidents and participate in post-incident reviews and remediation.
