Job summary

AECOM invites an experienced water infrastructure engineer to join our Townsville team. You will work across pipelines, pump stations, storage reservoirs and treatment facilities for local and regional clients, delivering projects from concept to construction.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications and Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) / Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng).
• Experience managing complex multidisciplinary projects in the water infrastructure industry.
• Interest in succession planning and long-term growth within a global organisation.

Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery from business development through design to construction, managing commercial aspects.
• Provide technical leadership with support from multidisciplinary teams and ensure quality, timely, and budget-compliant outcomes.
• Mentor junior staff and build relationships with internal and external clients across sectors.
