Job summary

AECOM seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager with a water-infrastructure background to lead major projects in the Hunter region. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, manage stakeholders, and ensure governance and change control across the project lifecycle.

You will contribute to shaping regional growth with complex, multi-million to AUD 1+ billion programs, while enjoying flexible, hybrid work arrangements and a supportive employer that values safety and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with 10+ years in project management within major infrastructure environments, preferably water.
• Demonstrated success delivering complex multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
• Strong commercial, contract, cost, schedule and risk management capability.
• Experience managing diverse stakeholder groups including clients, contractors, consultants and government bodies.
• Excellent leadership, communication and relationship-building skills.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence and inspire project teams.
• Solid understanding of governance, procurement and project controls.
• Experience managing scope, quality and change across the lifecycle.
• Ability to identify and manage project risks while driving successful outcomes.
• Proactive problem solving and a passion for infrastructure that strengthens communities.
