Job summary

Benchmark Physiotherapy in Rosebery, NSW invites a friendly Medical Receptionist to join our large, modern clinic. This permanent part-time role (~25 hours/week) offers a stable schedule and the chance to cover colleagues' leave occasionally.

You'll welcome clients, manage bookings, handle patient details in Nookal, process payments with EFTPOS/HICAPS, and support clinicians in delivering patient-centred care with a calm, professional approach.

Qualifications

• Previous reception or customer service experience (essential).
• Medical or allied health experience is a bonus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to stay calm and prioritise when busy.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming clients and creating a friendly, professional first impression.
• Answering phones and managing appointment bookings
• Processing patient details and accounts in Nookal
• Taking payments via EFTPOS and HICAPS
• Liaising with health insurers, Medicare and DVA
• Handling emails, mail and general admin in Word and Excel
• Supporting clinicians to build great relationships with patients
