Benchmark Physiotherapy is seeking a friendly and organised Medical Receptionist for its Rosebery clinic. This permanent part-time role (approx. 25 hours per week) supports reception, bookings and billing in a busy physiotherapy practice.

You will greet clients, manage calls, handle patient details in Nookal, take EFTPOS/HICAPS payments, and liaise with insurers and Medicare, while assisting clinicians to deliver patient-centered care.

Qualificações

• Previous reception or customer service experience (essential); medical or allied health experience is a bonus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to stay calm, prioritise and keep patient care front of mind when things get busy.
• A team-player attitude.
• A current National Police Check and Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain them.

Responsabilidades

• Welcoming clients and creating a friendly, professional first impression.
• Answering phones and managing appointment bookings.
• Processing patient details and accounts in Nookal.
• Taking payments via EFTPOS and HICAPS.
• Liaising with health insurers, Medicare and DVA.
• Handling emails, mail and general admin in Word and Excel.
• Supporting our clinicians to build great relationships with patients.
