Job summary

Talent Focus is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader in Melbourne to oversee daily warehouse operations and lead a medium-sized team. You will ensure accurate stock handling, orders, and deliveries, while maintaining safety and efficiency.

The role requires 2–3+ years in warehousing, a valid forklift licence, and strong supervision, stock control, and computer skills to drive accuracy and productivity in a fast-paced environment.

Job description

As Warehouse Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day warehouse operations and managing a medium-sized team to ensure stock, orders and deliveries are handled efficiently and accurately.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and coordinating a medium-sized warehouse team
• Stock management and maintaining accurate inventory records
• Stock rotation and ensuring products are stored correctly
• Receiving, checking and distributing incoming orders
• Organising deliveries and dispatches
• Coordinating exports and deliveries
• Preparing orders accurately and ensuring they are dispatched on time
• Completing and maintaining warehouse paperwork and documentation
• Using computer systems to manage stock, orders and warehouse information
• Coordinating daily warehouse activities and prioritising workloads
• Maintaining a safe, clean and organised warehouse environment
• Supporting the wider warehouse team with general duties when required

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• 2–3+ years' experience in a warehouse environment
• A valid Forklift Licence
• Previous experience supervising or leading a warehouse team
• Strong stock management and organisational skills
• Experience with stock rotation, receiving and distributing orders
• Good computer skills and the ability to use warehouse systems
• Strong attention to detail and administration skills
• Excellent communication and team-management abilities
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Construction, building supplies or related industry experience is highly advantageous
