Job summary

Leading Company in Truganina, Victoria, is seeking an energetic Forklift Operator to manage end-to-end warehouse duties, including receiving, unloading containers, stock control, picking, packing and dispatch.

This full-time role offers morning shifts 6:30am–2:30pm, Monday to Friday, with a pay rate of $35 per hour plus super and leave. Applicants must hold a current High-Risk Forklift Licence (LF) and a valid driver's licence, and have proven warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries and inspect incoming stock for accuracy and quality.

• Drive the company ute for local collections and deliveries.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness in warehouse and production zones.
• Provide general support to trades and workshop activities when warehouse operations are up to date.
• Assist with basic assembly prep and bay cleaning.

Job description

We are seeking an energetic, detail-driven Forklift Operator to manage the core store duties for a leading Company. You will be responsible for the end-to-end movement of stock, from receiving and container unloading, through to accurate order picking, packing, and dispatch.

Employment Type: Full-Time Monday - Friday

Location: Truganina

Pay: $35 per hour + super and leave

Shift times: Morning shifts 6:30am - 2:30pm

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving & Inwards Goods: Unload deliveries (including containers of pumps), inspect incoming stock for accuracy and quality, and allocate items to designated storage or active production builds.
• Picking & Packing: Accurately pick parts orders for both external customers and internal production builds (typically manageable builds under 100 parts). Pack items securely for transport.
• Freight & Dispatch: Coordinate daily freight dispatch using online customer portals and freight management platforms.
• Forklift Operations: Safely operate a forklift to load/unload, transport heavy palletised stock, and move large items (engines, heavy pumps) throughout the warehouse.
• Local Transport: Drive the company ute for local collections, hot-shot deliveries, and running parts errands.
• Warehouse Upkeep: Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and layout in the warehouse and production zones.
• Secondary Support Duties: Trade Support: Assist the Trade Assistant and qualified trades in workshop activities when warehouse operations are up to date.
• General Operations: Assist with basic assembly prep, cleaning work bays, or general team support as required.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Licences: Current High-Risk Forklift Licence (LF) and valid Driver's Licence (clean driving record).
• Experience: Demonstrated experience in a warehouse, storeman, or logistics role handling varied inventory.
