Job summary

Abdex Hydraulics Pty Ltd in Dandenong South is hiring for a full-time Warehousing & Operations role. You will load/unload, drive a forklift, count stock, handle orders, and assist with customer interactions primarily by phone and email.

The role reports to the Operations Manager and involves varied daily tasks, helping support the sales and workshop teams. A hands-on, safety-focused candidate with basic IT skills will fit well.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and containers.
• Operate forklift and move stock as required.
• Count and sort stock and maintain accurate records.
• Liaise with internal departments and customers via phone/email.
• Keep the warehouse clean and organised at all times.
• Process, monitor, pick and pack orders.
• Support sales staff and customer account interactions.
• Inspect goods inwards and outwards.
• Assist workshop and other warehouse tasks as needed.

ABOUT US

Located at our office in Dandenong South, Abdex Hydraulics is a leading supplier of high-pressure hydraulic equipment & tools with facilities in Melbourne, Perth & Brisbane.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a full-time opportunity working 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday to Thursday & 7:30am-4pm Friday.

Reporting to our Operations Manager, your day-to-day duties will cover:

• Loading / unloading trucks and containers
• Forklift Driving
• Counting & sorting stock
• Liaising with internal departments
• Maintaining a clean and tidy warehouse
• Processing, monitoring, picking and packing orders
• Assisting with customer account interactions end to end mainly over the phone and via email as required.
• Supporting sales staff as required
• Help manage goods inwards and outwards inspection
• Supporting the workshop team with day-to-day tasks
• Assisting in warehouse as required
