Job summary

Spot On Ring Rolling in Braeside is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily material flow, including raw steel profiles, stock, and heavy machined components. You will maintain a lean floor layout, coordinate logistics, and supervise inbound and despatch activities.

The role requires 5+ years in heavy manufacturing logistics, a valid LF forklift licence, overhead crane experience, strong computer skills, and a calm, proactive approach.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years working as a Warehouse Supervisor or Senior Store person in heavy manufacturing, engineering, steel, or industrial logistics.
• Valid Australian High-Risk Work Forklift Licence (LF) is essential.
• Overhead crane experience is highly regarded.
• Solid computer skills for managing basic inventory tracking software and dispatch systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills, high communication standards, and a calm-under-pressure demeanor.
• Familiarity with handling container unstuffing and international freight documentation is highly regarded.

• Maintain a lean warehouse layout suitable for large, heavy industrial materials

• Oversee the unloading of imported overseas shipments and coordinate the dispatch of locally manufactured goods

Job description

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will oversee the daily flow of goods—including raw steel profiles, materials, and heavy machined components. This is a hands-on position requiring a leader who can maintain a clean, optimal floor layout, coordinate logistics, and oversee all incoming & despatch of goods.

Key responsibilities

Coordinate incoming raw materials and outbound finished goods dispatching

About you
